Scaling limit of a one-dimensional polymer in a repulsive i.i.d. environment

We study a 1D polymer that is penalized by random energies sitting on the range. We obtain scaling limits and fluctuations for the edges, that are both deterministic once the random energies fixed.

Scaling limit for the random walk penalized by its range in dimension one

We study the 1D simple random walk penalized by its range. We get asymptotics for the center and size of the range for “moderate” penalization intensity.
